About Me
The BDA is an independent, public-private partnership funded by both the Bermuda Government and the private sector. The agency is governed by an experienced Board of Directors comprised of senior industry professionals representing the diversity of Bermuda’s financial services sector.
The Bermuda Government’s Ministry of Education & Economic Development, including its Business Development Unit is committed to creating a conducive business environment in Bermuda in order to attract foreign direct investment, and ultimately raise GDP and create jobs on the Island.
The BDA acts as a partner for existing Bermuda-based companies, and assists entities that are considering establishing operations in the domicile. We connect prospective companies with industry partners and relevant representatives in the Bermuda Monetary Authority and the Bermuda Government’s Business Development Unit, making formal introductions, trouble-shooting and following up with clients to simplify the process.
The BDA encourages direct investment and helps international companies start up, re-locate or expand their business in Bermuda. An independent, public-private organisation, we connect prospective business to industry professionals, regulatory officials, and government contacts to make setting up a business here easier. Our goal? To grow the island’s GDP and create jobs.
